Our Favorite Chicago Murals

Published on January 06, 2022

At Flowers For Dreams we are lucky to get to be surrounded by beautiful flowers everyday in our Chicago flower shop. It is part of what makes coming to work so special for many of us. Flowers can be closer to you than you think thanks to so many amazing local artists. We have gathered a list of our favorite Chicago floral murals all over Chicago. Next time you are out for a walk or running an errand try to take a stop by one of these amazing murals.

West Town In Bloom

914 W Chicago Ave – West Town

This mural was done by the incredibly talented Quizi, or Louise Jones, local to Detroit. It is a combination of  daisies, a peony, Apple blossoms, Japanese camellia, and cosmos. In addition, it is right next to West Town bakery, perfect for a little art and dessert.

All In One

1700 S Wentworth Avenue – Pilsen

Located in Ping Tom Park we have our next mural, “All In One”, completed in 2018 by Andy Bellamo, Chester Chow and Anna Murphy. Such a beautiful contrast of the blue flowers against the white concrete. In addition this area has many other murals to see.

Maison Marcel

2008 N Halsted St – Lincoln Park
PC - @thetravelgrammersguide

A true escape tucked in the middle of Lincoln Park. This French Baker, Maison Marcel, has a mural painted by Natasha May Platt. Stop by for all the Parisian feels, above all, a pastry.

Eden

1748 W Lake St – West Loop
PC - Eden Restaurant

Right near Flowers for Dreams we have a green house inspired mural painted by that artist Asend. This piece was created for a restaurant that is inspired by locally grown produce and it still remains on Lake street.

Adalina

912 N State- Gold Coast
PC – Caitline Cole Design

This is a newer mural that is in the new restaurant Adalina in Chicago, created by Caitlin Cole Designs. Still, it speaks for itself as you walk into the restaurant with the powerful white roses.

Rapt on the Mile

679 N. Michigan Ave. – Streeterville
PC - Mark Capapas/Sun-Times

In addition, this next one is called “Rapt on the Mile” by Artists Nick Cave and Bob Faust. This is a super unique mural as it is on the Magnificent Mile where the old Apple store used to be.

China Truborn

1311 Michigan Ave. – South Loop
PC – Phil Dembinski/Columbia College

This mural is home to a beautiful floral mural for Columbia College. It is one of many that is in what this area, therefore they call the Wabash Arts Corridor. The hold tours to see all the other murals around the area.
